KozMos AutoTableX can
really simplify the procedure on table works in AutoCAD because many
intermediary steps can be reduced and done by the product automatically

- Convert a drawn table into AcDbTable:
AutoTableX can directly
convert an existing drawn table into AcDbTable without a middle media
of Excel. Most non-AutoTableX solutions will use Excel as a

first, then the data can be transferred from Excel into AutoCAD by
system Copy+Paste special command. As we have discussed,

modification.

AutoCAD operation and Excel as intermediary, even the table size, column
width and row height will match the size from the source drawn table.
- Convert an AcDbTable into
Excel:
A .CSV file is needed to convert an AcDbTable into
Excel, and the cells' merge information may lost in Excel. This is
only an one-way conversion, data changed in Excel can not be
synchronized back into AutoCAD. To create a new AcDbTable from Excel
may be the only reasonable solution.
Using AutoTableX may enable the data
synchronization between Excel and AcDbTable. The AcDbTable cells'
merge information will be passed into Excel as same as in AutoCAD. No
data will be lost and no further complex operation is needed.
During the conversion, all math functions can be
recorded between AcDbTable and Excel.
- Modify a drawn table via
run-time Excel:
Plenty operation on an existing drawn table may
become more simple via AutoTableX. Not only the contents,
but also the cell background color and text color can be changed in
Excel. If the source drawn table does not contain cell background,
AutoTableX can add the correct background color while the
synchronization procedure from from Excel back to AutoCAD. Add Colored
background may make the drawn tables to be more beautiful.
Some Excel features in filling contents may be used
to modify existing drawn table in AutoCAD if it can be imported into
Excel and support a data synchronization back. AutoTableX
just can fit this requirement and al these features can be used to
modify old AutoCAD drawn tables.

- Combine/Split AcDbTable:
An existing AcDbTable can be split into two AcDbTables just

- Merge/Unmerge cells with advanced content
options:
Picking a single cell will process MERGEING with other cells,
picking a merged cell will UNMERGE it into single cells

operations. No data will be lost (As AutoCAD merge will only record
content in R1C1 and discard all others)
- Transfer data between cells in
same/different AcDbTables:
Existing data in cells can be copied or moved into another

- Using Excel as editor for AcDbTables:
An AcDbTable can be modified from within Excel via an alive
linkage between Excel spreadsheet and AcDbTable. During the

supported both in Excel and AcDbTable.
- Build sequential contents in cells:
AutoTableX can perform math calculations on digits in cell
content in order to build a sequential contents and fill them into

- Normal operations on cell content strings:
Normal string operation such as "Add Prefix", "Add
Suffix", "Substitution" are supported by AutoTableX.
- Processing MTEXT control characters:
